Few artists can claim a legacy as the rich, soulful, and influential as GRAMMY Award winning pianist, composer, arranger, and producer, Jerry Peters.
Perhaps best known as the writer of the timeless classic “Going in Circles” by The Friends of Distinction, Jerry’s songwriting brilliance helped shape an anthem that has stood the test of time—later covered by icons like Isaac Hayes, The Gap Band, and Luther Vandross.
In addition to his songwriting legacy, Jerry’s musical fingerprints are found across the catalogs of legends such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, Gladys Knight, Phyllis Hyman, and Deniece Williams. His visionary arrangements and masterful touch have contributed to some of the most enduring records in modern music.
Now, in a powerful new chapter, Jerry is stepping back into the spotlight with the upcoming release of his long-awaited solo album, Melodic Soul. The first single, “The Connection,” is a lush and funky instrumental composition rich with emotion, groove, and intention. His second single is a cover of his own song that he originally wrote for the incomparable Gene Harris entitled, "Los Alamitos Latin Funk Love Song."
As Jerry reintroduces his music to the world, he’s also building a dynamic presence on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where fans old and new are connecting with his story, his wisdom, and his music. With a new generation discovering the genius behind the keys, Jerry Peters is proving that true artistry only deepens with time.

Zhailon Levingston is a director, writer, and educator, recognized as the youngest Black director in Broadway history with his direction of Chicken & Biscuits on Broadway. Beyond Broadway, Levingston is known for his innovative work in theater, blending storytelling with activism and community engagement. A Louisiana native, he continues to champion diverse voices and reimagine American theater. His newest work, Cats: The Jellicle Ball, is slated to make its Broadway debut in 2026. So needless to say, these one-on-one sessions are for those looking for coaching from the best of the best in Broadway.
